Our comprehensive service means that it is rare for us to need to refer patients outside the practice to meet their needs. This allows our patients to feel comfortable and at ease for their treatment, and in familiar surroundings. We are aware that a visit to the dentist can be a cause for anxiety for many patients and we can limit this as much as possible by making patients feel at home.
Meet the teamWe are very much a family-centred practice, and enjoy the interaction with three generations of some of our longest serving families. At Goldsworth Road Dental Centre we are modern, forward-looking and believe in continuous development of staff and services to provide the highest level of patient care.
Our treatment planning emphasises prevention, and the practice has a fantastic team of dental hygienists. Under direct access arrangement, we are now able to offer you an appointment to see one of our hygienists without seeing the dentist first. We provide a complete range of dental services, including implants and orthodontics, as well as restorative dentistry and smile enhancement.
Most members of our team have been with the practice for a number of years. Many of our nursing staff are trained by us and go on to achieve not only their dental nursing qualifications, but also post graduate certificates in areas such as radiology and dental health education. This allows for the development of a strong cohesive team. Modern healthcare models show that patient care is improved by having this type of team.
We offer a range of flexible payment options to allow you to spread the cost of your dental treatment and budget by making small monthly payments, rather than having to find large sums of money in one go. We also offer our own monthly payment plan to cover routine dental care such as examinations and oral hygiene. This plan also provides cover for twelve months in the event of redundancy.
Nervous patients are very welcome at Goldsworth Road Dental Centre, and we are happy to arrange a no obligation visit to the practice for those patients who are worried about seeing the dentist but would like to take the first step towards making an appointment.
We listen to you, because we really care about what our patients want. We provide you with free estimates to cover all your options for treatment once we have clearly explained them to you. We encourage you to take time to consider what is the right option for you.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 aims to promote a culture of openness and accountability amongst public authorities (in this case dentists who provide NHS treatment) by providing people with rights of access to information held by them.
BDA Good Practice is UK dentistry’s leading quality assurance programme. By becoming members, practices demonstrate a visible commitment to providing quality dental care to nationally recognised standards.
Practices meeting the BDA Good Practice standard should be well positioned for meeting national quality standards (for example, RQIA, CQC etc).
The requirements can be used by all providers of outpatient dental care including general dental practices both private and NHS, specialists practices, salaried primary dental care services, armed forces clinics and outpatient departments.
